Adsense is a money making websites requirement…well almost. It’s the easiest and least costly in terms of time and money. Getting an account is a breeze as well, if you know how. For the person just starting a site they often get turned down, just as I have, the first time they apply. I’ve got the solution to getting and Adsense account on the first try!

Google loves content and it’s the source of ads generated by the Adsense program. This isn’t a secret but it’s often overlooked by newcomers to the Adsense game. As a result the “sorry” mail is received a few times before finally getting accepted into the program. I went thru this myself and it’s easy to over come.

If your site is small don’t even try. A quick couple of pages won’t get you accepted into the program. A site with content already up and that’s regular updated does. This isn’t the case with most squeeze/sales-letter sites but is the case with a blog.

Google loves blogs about as much as they do content. It doesn’t really matter what blog you have it only matters that you have one. Google owns blogger so that might be a good choice to start with. I’ve said before that Wordpress is the best blogging software for the Internet Marketer and I stand by that so if you have a Wordpress blog already, that’s just fine. My Adsense account was approved by way of a Wordpress blog.

Your Blog should be targeted. The reason is Adsense is a targeted program based on keywords from the Adwords program. The keyword is searched for in your content and they become the source for ads placed on your site. Random ramblings on whatever you feel like when you post will also work against you.

Now that we’ve covered a brief intro on the program, on to how to get Adsense on the first try.

Get yourself a blog on topic or niche and make some posts. If your involved in a work at home Internet marketing business as I am, just pick keywords associated with that. These would be the same keywords you gathered when researching your niche as I discussed in my Niche Marketing Report. Keywords like Make Money Online, Profitable Websites, Make Money With A Website, at home online business etc are fine in this case, but there is a way to get more money from Adsense by doing some research. I’ll get into in another post.

Now that you have a blog you need to make regular post for a couple of weeks and they need to be a few hundred words just too safe. Follow my guidelines for SEOing your blog posts and you’ll be fine. After a few weeks posting a couple times day, THEN you apply and you’ll get accepted. That’s how easy it is to get accepted on the first try and the great thing is that once you have ad Adsense account you can use it on ANY website you own.
