After continually growing sales for 10 or more years, Guru Marketers have taken a page from late night television to boost sales: enter the 30 second landing page infomercial. The axiom “content is king” is true enough, but without great keywords in your content, to get you ranked high on the search engines, no one will find you or your content. Research and selection are the most critical first step for any one who wants to own a profitable website. Keywords should have some competition, be targeted to your niche, and be optimized for the traffic of people looking to buy. I’ll go over the basics as an entire book can be written on these 3 steps.

Squeeze pages come in so many varieties that making your own the first time seems daunting. It’s an important part of any internet marketing site, and the purpose is simple: get the visitor’s email and name to build your list and communicate with them. They can have audio, video, plain text or any combination thereof. No matter what the squeeze looks like they all accomplish the task of getting the email and name of a visitor in the same way.

What’s up with all the $7 e-books?
I’m on InstantBuzz and a lot of the ads are for $7 e-books. I read about how it’s one of the “fast” ways to making a profitable website. If you can write a decent 30 page report on something you’ve discovered that works then fgo for it. I have trouble believing the $7 e-book will quadruple my traffic in 2 weeks or any of the other claims.
I do see where a few people may have stumbled onto something that works for them and put it in an e-book but the hard part is separating the sh*t fom the sugar…as my uncle used to say.
My Niche Marketing Essentials report could possible qualify as a $7 e-book…maybe I’ll give it try;)
Actually, the $7 ebook is really a front end offer. All the money is really made on the back end when the lead is subscribed. It’s just another twist on the “irresistible offer”
BTW, no matter how great you e-book it ain’t gonna sell if you can’t get traffic. That’s probably another set of $7 e-books.
